Weight Benches

A weight bench is an ideal partner during a complete workout. There are different types of weight benches. Most benches can be expanded with various accessories for a full-body workout.

What types of weight benches do you have?

Weight benches are popular in the gym. You often have to wait for your turn, or someone is waiting for you to use the weight bench. That’s not a very beneficial way to train. In that case a weight bench, also known as a workout bench or gym bench, is the perfect solution for at home.

With an adjustable workout bench, you can adjust the seat and the backrest in height and position. This way you can perform multiple types of exercises with one bench. The backrest and seat of weight benches are in a fixed position. These benches can often carry a little more (workout) weight and have a bit more stability.

What muscles do you train with a weight bench?

Whichever bench you choose, a weight bench always has a support, ensuring that you have the weights at your fingertips during a workout. Bench presses, for training the chest and shoulder muscles, are most commonly done on a weight bench. That is why a weight bench is also often called a bench press bench.

Many weight benches can be supplied with various accessories such as footrests and leg extensions. This not only trains the torso but also allows you to do biceps, legs, back and abdomen exercises. With the right extensions, you can perform a full workout on a workout bench.
