Plate-loaded machines use separate weight plates that you load manually on the pins. This is more like training with free weights and great for heavier strength training.
For plate-loaded machines, the max training weight is 150 kg per pin. So a machine with two pins can handle up to 300 kg. Storage pins can also hold 150 kg each. Pin-loaded machines come standard with a 120 kg weight stack.
