Based on this regulation, every website is obliged to inform the user about ‘cookies’ and to ask for permission to use them.

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies contain information and exchange certain settings and information with the relevant website’s system. By storing settings and data, websites can tailor what they offer to your specific needs and can make your browsing session more convenient. For example, by storing certain details in such a way that you don’t have to re-enter them during your next visit.
